Intel Skylake Pentium G4400 Review

I'm going to be honest, I wasn't expecting much when I made up my mind to purchase this low end CPU. But so far, it hasn't given me any problems, or regrets of not purchasing a better CPU. After using the Skylake Pentium for a week, I realized that this CPU was even more than I bargained for. It handles every program that I have right now with ease and efficiency. Intel has done a great job marketing this CPU because it was never meant to outperform any of the latest Skylake iProcessor series. It was meant for people on a budget who still needed a good CPU and a decent integrated graphics, and also those who didn't want to go the AMD route.

CPU (8/10)
The CPU itself is not exactly a "beast" processor. But it's more than enough for daily tasks, like browsing the web, word processing, loading apps, handling all the features of Windows 10, and so on. The Skylake Pentium's single core performance is pretty good, but the multi core processing performance is quite low compared to Intel's more higher end offerings. I give the CPU a solid 8/10

Integrated Graphics (HD 510) (7/10)
One thing that really shocked me when using this CPU was its integrated graphics card. My expectation were almost non-existent when it came to the LOWEST END, INTEGRATED GRPAHICS that Intel is offering with the Skylake processors. Although it's not even close to matching some of the even low end graphic cards out there. It's perfect for my uses. I even played some browser base games like Slither.io, Agar.io, and Roblox just to test it out. It ran those games smoothly, and in the case of Slither.io, with high graphic settings. Although this integrated graphic card is the lowest offering in the Skylake generation, it's suitable for daily use and maybe some light gaming. (It's better than my 2nd gen i5 integrated graphics, HD3000) I give this integrated graphics a solid 7/10

I've included some gameplay footage. Excuse my skills as a gamer but I don't even play games so whatever ;P

Agar.io

- Super smooth even on the highest graphic setting

Slither.io

- Smooth with high graphic setting, but can have lag spikes especially during graphic intense moments. Can be solved by lessening graphic quality or turning off screen recorder.
