3 Great Ways To Speed Up Your Computer

It seems like your computer gets slower as the years pass by, the startup time ever increasing. You wonder what the problem is, after all, the hardware is the same... You search online for answers but end up slowing the computer down even more by installing adware and changing system settings... Frustrated, you continue to search frantically, ultimately ending up on this guide. You think "this is probably another how to install an adware guide.." You try the steps, and voila! Your computer is significantly faster and you end up with more storage on your computer. Read on to find out how this is possible...

There are many guides out there, some telling you to install various software that never really seems to work. Most of them are sponsored by the company that makes the software, providing you with a highly biased and useless guide. I will attempt to remedy this common issue on the web and provide you with real answers that are proven to work, not just sponsored ads.

1. CCleaner
This suggestion may seem ironic, mainly because I was talking about the amount of useless adware out there. But I can guarantee that this software will significantly clean up you PC, making it not only faster but freeing up tons of storage space, especially if you have an old computer. This software can be used to clean out all sorts of junk hiding in your computer. It can also uninstall programs with ease, making the whole process a lot smoother. I've been using CCleaner for many years and it has proved to be extremely effective and necessary in all PCs, especially old ones. I highly recommend this FREE* (yes, free) program to clean up your computer and make it faster.

*Pro version can be purchased but free version is more than enough for most people, also doesn't have ads.

2. Malwarebytes
Another software that can speed up your PC is Malwarebytes Anti-Malware software. This software is definitely on my must have software list , along with CCleaner. This software gives you the ability to fully detect and eliminate ANY  viruses, or threats currently residing in your computer. This software actually saved my computer couple times by removing weird viruses and adware, and also blocking some malicious websites that were harmful to my computer. Malwarebytes can ultimately speed up the computer by removing any viruses or adware that is causing your computer to slow down. It has a free trial version that you can basically keep forever, but you can upgrade to a premium membership for more features and real time protection.

3. Buy an SSD

Buy and install an SSD. This task might sound daunting at first, but this has proven to be the most effective  way of speeding up your computer. Not only does the SSD give you faster read/write speeds, it also starts up WAY  faster and loads your programs in an instant. This method is the most foolproof way of speeding up your computer, even though it requires some extra cash. I would say using an SSD is definitely worth it, and the amount of time saved on the computer ultimately surmounts the cost. I have a review of the SSD I'm using currently here: ADATA 240GB SSD Review

Included below are the 3 SSDs that work for every type of consumer, whether you have a high-end system and want extreme speeds, or on a budget but still want the blazing fast speeds of an SSD.
